As we are based on the Costa Del Sol in Spain and we feel we can offer our clients the best in Spanish off plan and completed property often at discounts and coming direct from the developer. Endless sunny days relaxing by the pool, a chilled beer at your side. Taking an evening stroll along the beach before heading home for a barbecue. Pottering round the market with all the time in the world....It’s pretty easy to imagine how good life will be with your own home in sunny southern Spain. But when you get all practical and start thinking about lawyers and contracts, that clear picture can go a understandably turn a little fuzzy. So we’re here to help you bring it all back into focus again and make the whole buying process as straightforward as possible. Buying property in Spain isn’t difficult, it’s just a bit different. We can recommend an English speaking lawyer who will take care of all the legalities for you and make sure your interests are protected at every stage. Our financial partner, can help you with all the financial aspects of your purchase. And if you’re not sure about anything, at any time, don't be afraid to just ask, that's what we're here for. As for the odd scare story that makes its way into the papers, it’s important to remember that there are still foreigners who buy property in Spain without any legal advice at all – madness! Inevitably, some of them get caught out by the common pitfalls that a good lawyer would spot a mile off. It’s not difficult to see why thousands of foreign buyers choose to invest in southern Spain every year. With its miles of golden sandy beaches, breathtaking scenery, tranquil villages and bustling coastal resorts, this diverse and beautiful region has something for everyone. Take a look at our comprehensive area guides below to discover which part of Spain is right for you. If you're having a bit of trouble deciding which area is right for you. The Costa del Sol - the coast of Andalucía, Spain - Your Guide Running along 300km of some of the most breathtaking and vibrant coastline on the European continent, Spain’s Costa del Sol has long set the standard for quality Mediterranean living. For decades, the coast stretching from the regional capital of Málaga to the lush sportsman’s paradise of Soto Grande has drawn visitors from across the world to its shores, with a unique blend of traditional Andalucian culture and contemporary seaside living. Offering the best of both worlds, the Costa del Sol is comprised of a myriad of residential and commercial areas, which vary from tranquil mountain villages to bustling urban centers boasting all the luxuries and amenities one would expect from such a popular coastal resort. Sheltered by the Sierra Bermeja mountain range, which creates the area’s unique micro-climate, the Costa del Sol is also blessed with gloriously temperate weather throughout the whole year. Growing and expanding through the last five decades, the villages and towns along the Costa del Sol have made the most of the region’s rich heritage and beautiful natural surroundings, helping the Coast become the continent’s most popular destination. The evolution of this region has drawn innovation and investment from across the globe, helping the Costa del Sol develop into a vastly diverse and cosmopolitan community offering something for virtually everyone. This diversity is evident in every aspect of the community’s cultural and architectural landscape, providing a selection of activities and property options for every taste and budget. Ranging from quaint private apartments to lavish Mediterranean villas, the Costa del Sol’s residential selection allows the opportunity for everyone to call the Costa del Sol home. While known to many as a centre of golfing excellence, earning it a second moniker in the world of sport, the Costa del Golf, the opportunity to play on some of the finest courses in the world is far from the only draw to this warm weather playground. Indeed, the Costa del Sol's endless selection of activities and events provides enough options to fill anyone’s schedule, whatever their tastes may be. In addition to the region’s endless and diverse beaches and secluded private coves, the Costa del Sol is home to a number of amusement parks, shopping centers, sports facilities, cultural landmarks and a large concentration of award-winning leisure marinas, offering moorings for vessels large and small. The Costa del Sol's many leisure activities are balanced by a wide selection of medical centers and schools, providing many international educational opportunities to non-Spanish students and helping to create an ideal environment for families hoping to settle in the south of Spain from the rest of the world. For more mature visitors to the area, the Costa del Sol is also home to one of the exciting and consistent social scenes in Europe. From the trendy marina in Puerto Banús to Benalmádena’s selection of night clubs and bars to the refurbished neighbourhoods of Málaga’s Old Town, the Cost del Sol provides a busy social calendar all year round. Situated a short drive from some of Spain’s most important cultural capitals, such as Granada, Ronda, Sevilla and Córdoba, the Costa del Sol also provides the opportunity delve into the country’s rich and exciting cultural history whenever the mood might strike. During the winter months, you can even spend the morning skiing in the nearby resort of Sierra Nevada in Granada, then head down to the coast in time for dinner on the beach! Far from dormant, the Costa del Sol's growth appears to be hitting high gear with a series of expansion and improvement plans under way meant to help prepare the Costa del Sol for the future. Acting as the gateway to the Costa del Sol, Malagas Pablo Ruíz Picasso Airport is currently expanding and will be able to handle up to 20 million travelers a year upon the completion of its new terminal. Meanwhile, the city itself will soon welcome a new underground metro system and has recently seen the opening of a brand new rail station complex, which provides commercial and hospitality services to the more than 24 million people who travel through the station each year. The Málaga train station will also see the arrival of the high-speed AVE train this year, halving the travel time to Spain's capital Madrid, as well as offer access to the coastal train line, which is also set for expansion, extending service from the existing last stop in Fuengirola to its new final destination, Sotogrande. The Costa del Sol will also soon see changes as the Málaga port will continue to expand both its commercial and leisure facilities, putting it on track to be one of the Mediterranean's busiest marinas. In addition, the Costa del Sol will witness the arrival of a new marina in La Cala de Mijas as well as expansions of several other leisure ports including Fuengirola. The Costa Cálida - Murcia Province - Tourist Information Situated on Spain’s south-eastern Mediterranean shores, between the regions of Andalucía and the Valencian Community, lies the region of Murcia. Its coastline is known as the Costa Cálida (Warm Coast) – and is the newest hotspot in Spain, having remained undeveloped and undiscovered for years. The coast lives up to its name, with a pleasant sea breeze taking the edge off the soaring summer temperatures, and dry balmy winters. The stunning landscape offers a combination of sun-drenched white beaches, dramatic mountain ranges and lush green countryside. Interlinked by ancient Spanish cities steeped in architectural and cultural heritage, the natural beauty of Murcia is evident from the moment you arrive. The Costa Calida is home to some of the most popular and best value golf resorts to have been built in Spain, none more so than the highly publicised Polaris World located a few minutes from the Mar Menor. The Costa Blanca - Alicante Province Situated on Spain’s eastern Mediterranean shore, the Costa Blanca (White Coast) is part of the province of Alicante and takes its name from the stunning sandy beaches that edge its 200km coastline. A nature lover’s paradise, the Costa Blanca has eleven natural parks ranging from spectacular mountainous terrain to unspoilt coastal wetlands and marine reserves. Alicante and Benidorm are the two principal and most-well known towns along the coastline – leading holiday destinations with thriving expat communities. Elsewhere you’ll find lively smaller towns and sleepy fishing villages, interspersed by magnificent beaches, jutting headlands and intimate rocky coves. The Alicante province forms the southernmost part of the Valencian Community region, and around an hour and a half’s drive north of Alicante is its capital and Spain’s third largest city, Valencia. The Costa de la Luz - Cádiz Adjoining the Costa del Sol to the east, and extending westwards to the River Guadiana, the Costa de la Luz (Coast of Light) is one of southern Spain’s best-kept secrets. Boasting 300 kilometers of breathtaking Atlantic coastline, Costa de la Luz comprises the spectacularly beautiful Andalusian provinces of Cádiz and Huelva. And, having avoided the spotlight of mass tourism, its authentic Spanish identity remains intact. You won’t find the buzzing nightlife or sophisticated shopping arcades of the Costa del Sol here. Instead, Costa de la Luz offers dramatic scenery, historic cities, picturesque hilltop villages, uncrowded golden beaches and some world-class golf courses. Best of all, because the area is relatively undiscovered, there are some incredible bargains on the property market – and we’ve got access to them all. |
